Terri Frohman: Mixed Media Artist, Coach and Creative Facilitator
Terri Frohman is a professional mixed media artist, business coach, and community leader living and working in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. A native New Yorker and NYU MFA graduate, she brings a deep understanding of the city's creative landscape to her multi-disciplinary practice. Terri Frohman founded the Handmade in Brooklyn Collective in 2015 to bridge the gap between artistic development and the practical business skills necessary for a profitable career. Known as the "Art Mom Coach," her work focuses on dismantling the "starving artist" mindset. Her personal artistic output includes layered mixed media paintings, screen-printed apparel, and leather accessories that celebrate the human spirit. Beyond her studio practice, she has a background as an educator for the NYC and NYS Board of Arts Education, where she spent over a decade advocating for arts in schools. Currently, she facilitates workshops inspired by "The Artist’s Way" and provides private coaching, group masterminds, and strategic guidance for visual artists through her platform and the "Terri Talks" podcast. By emphasizing community and professional empowerment, Terri Frohman helps creators navigate the transition from traditional employment to successful freelancing and sustainable entrepreneurship.
