Founded in 2016 by Francesca Anfossi and Eric Wragge, the project was born from a desire to revitalize a derelict site and transform it into a vibrant space for artistic production and social interaction. The organization is built around the three core pillars of clay, food, and garden. This philosophy is reflected in its creative cycle, which emphasizes the sustainable journey from raw earth to finished ceramic objects used for communal dining. Rochester Square provides specialized facilities, including kilns and pottery wheels, and hosts various educational programs such as foundation courses in throwing and handbuilding, kids' clay workshops, and monthly children's activities.
