After pursuing studies in English literature, Pinaki Nath transitioned into the field of photography, earning a BSS from the Pathsala South Asian Media Institute. The creative practice of Pinaki Nath is deeply rooted in visual storytelling, often mentored by industry experts such as Abir Abdullah and Sarah Meister, a curator at MoMA. This educational foundation has allowed Pinaki Nath to develop a sophisticated approach to image-making that blends technical skill with narrative depth. The portfolio of Pinaki Nath features several significant projects, including Urban Mountains, Heat Island, Footnote, Noir, and The Paper Tale, an audio-visual work.
