EV Zhang (Ningxin Zhang) is a London-based Chinese multidisciplinary artist who bridges the realms of fine art photography, videography, and new media art. Recognized by the UK’s Global Talent Visa in Visual Arts, her practice is deeply rooted in Urban Anthropology, Travel Lifestyle, and Creative Technology. Zhang’s creative journey began as a travel vlogger, taking her across four continents and fifteen countries, from the bustling streets of Tokyo to the tranquil landscapes of rural Africa. This background informs her profound appreciation for cultural diversity and the kaleidoscope of human experience. Her portfolio includes acclaimed projects such as "Machina Chrysalis — The Creative Machine," which received an Honourable Mention at the 5th Digital Arts Zurich Festival (DA Z 2024). This work explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and human creativity through video art, utilizing tools like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion. Other notable projects include "Purple Mint," an exploration of perception and self-discovery; "Shadow Dancer," a study of light and movement in dance; and "Lunar Dream," capturing serene beauty in the desert.
