Yeong: Professional Electronic Music Producer and Sound Designer

Yeong is a Los Angeles-based electronic music producer, beatmaker, and mixing engineer with over a decade of creative experience in the music industry. Originally born in Seoul and raised in Houston, Yeong transitioned from a reserved youth to a passionate music creator after attending his first festival at age eighteen. This personal journey of self-acceptance and confidence is reflected in his stage name, which is a creative adaptation of his real name, Yong-Hwi. After graduating at the top of his class from the prestigious Icon Collective Music School in Los Angeles, Yeong refined his craft in electronic music. His sonic identity sits at the intersection of chill, dancey, and experimental genres, drawing inspiration from industry legends like Porter Robinson, Medasin, and Jerry Folk. His tracks, such as “Save Me” and “To You,” are known for blending glitchy lofi textures with dreamy, atmospheric vocals and nostalgic energy. As a versatile professional, Yeong offers a wide range of services including full-track production from scratch, instrumental creation for vocalists, remixing, and technical mixing and mastering. He also provides one-on-one mentoring to help fellow producers reach industry standards. Currently signed with Elton Audio Records (EAR), Yeong continues to push boundaries in the future bass and electronic scenes. His work emphasizes technical precision alongside emotional depth, often incorporating diverse influences ranging from Studio Ghibli jazz to UK garage. Through his artist project and professional collaborations, Yeong remains dedicated to bringing musical visions to life with high-quality production and a unique creative perspective.
