William Green is a Photographer

Driven by light and space, William Green’s photographic style is routed in cinema, his work both explores and touches on the ethereal qualities of both urban and natural landscapes and the people that inhabit those spaces. He is intrigued by how people live and what marks them out as being there. Whether shooting digital or on film and be it commissions for clients, personal work or creative projects, his unmistakable use of light and a unique colour palete marks every piece of his work. Shooting both inside and out, his work traverses traditional landscape photography through to cars and people with a magical approach. Playing on atmospheric ideas and with a narrative that is often almost hidden from view, he uses colour to give a greater sense of place, and light for a sense of direction.
