Visual artist exploring the emotional resonance of color and organic form.
Vasty (b. 1983, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a visual artist based in Barcelona, where he lives and works. His practice explores the expressive power of color and organic structures, drawing influence from biomorphism and the sensorial relationships between form, space, and perception. Working across painting, sculpture, and mixed media, his work investigates the tension between intuitive gesture and balanced composition. Through this approach, he develops a conceptual and visual language where organic shapes feel alive, generating emotional resonance and spatial dialogue. This interplay of fullness, movement, and openness invites viewers into a reflective encounter, where shapes and colors suggest subtle energies and states that remain open to interpretation. His work embraces both experimentation and refinement, allowing forms to evolve across different mediums while belonging to the same visual world. Guided by color as a central element, his pieces explore presence, vibration, and sensory connection, creating imagery that oscillates between the personal and the universal. He currently lives and maintains his studio in Barcelona, exhibiting his work and developing new bodies of work that expand the relationship between painting, sculpture, and sensory experience.
