Tuana Pulak is an accomplished curator, writer, and researcher with a profound specialization in photography and its historical development. Born in 1993, she pursued her academic foundation at the Parsons School of Design in New York, where she majored in Design and Management with a dedicated focus on the history of photography. This academic background served as a springboard into the global creative industry, where Tuana Pulak gained significant professional experience collaborating with influential fashion figures and agencies such as Karla Otto, Karl Templer, and Fabien Baron. These early roles provided her with a unique perspective on visual storytelling and creative direction that informs her current practice. Returning to Turkey, she took on pivotal roles within the arts and culture sector. Today, Tuana Pulak serves as the Exhibitions and Project Development Manager at the Ara Güler Museum in Istanbul. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing high-profile exhibitions both locally and internationally. Her curatorial reach extends to prestigious global institutions, having overseen projects at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, the Foam Museum in Amsterdam, and the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest.
