SOUP: A London-based design and creative development studio
SOUP is an independent design and creative development studio based in east London, working across print, digital and spatial projects. The studio covers brand identity, publication design, exhibition design, digital products and creative development. The approach is rooted in close collaboration, with a focus on clarity, considered detail and a willingness to question received formats, whether that means rethinking the structure of a publication, the wayfinding of an exhibition, or the architecture of a digital platform. SOUP works with a broad range of cultural institutions, galleries, museums, publishers and commercial clients. Long-standing relationships in the cultural sector include the V&A, Tate Modern, Hayward Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Photographers' Gallery, Southbank Centre, Turner Contemporary, V&A Dundee, the Royal Academy and the National Trust. Commercial and editorial clients include Ableton, Google Creative Lab and Prestel, alongside independent publishers, hospitality brands and arts organisations. The studio's work has been featured in It's Nice That and The Brand Identity. SOUP operates as a small, senior team with a network of trusted collaborators, scaling to suit the shape of each project. Output is varied in form but consistent in tone: precise, contextual and quietly confident.
