Sirocco Studios: Curating Contemporary Art and Artistic Networks

Sirocco Studios is a multidisciplinary creative practice and decentralized art space that operates at the intersection of contemporary art, curatorial research, and traditional craft. As a collaborative platform, Sirocco Studios publishes writing from a global network of emerging and established artists, writers, and academics. Their work encompasses a broad range of disciplines, including photography, sculpture, painting, and music, with a strong emphasis on critical dialogue and visual storytelling. A central component of their practice is Journal: The Map, a publication series that explores analogue processes and traces artistic networks across diverse geographical and cultural landscapes. In addition to its publishing and curatorial efforts, Sirocco Studios produces the Alboran Collection, a specialized jewellery line. These pieces are handcrafted from sterling silver and vitreous enamel, utilizing heritage techniques such as plique-à-jour and cloisonné.
