Shweta Malhotra is an award-winning graphic designer and artist based in Mumbai, India. Her professional journey began at Sophia Polytechnic, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist in Applied Arts. Over the course of 20 years, Shweta Malhotra has developed a distinctive aesthetic that is minimal, bold, and graphic, serving as a contemporary response to India's traditional maximalist visual language. Her work captures the essence of "Contemporary India," blending deep cultural roots with a fresh, modern perspective. Before establishing her independent practice, Shweta Malhotra held senior roles at major advertising agencies, including McCann Erickson, Contract Advertising, and Ogilvy. She also completed a residency at Fabrica, Benetton’s research center in Italy. Today, Shweta Malhotra focuses on the lifestyle, fashion, and music sectors, collaborating with prestigious clients like Vogue India, Google, Adidas, Samsung, and Ogaan. In 2019, she was inducted as a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), a prestigious global association for leading design professionals. Her work has been recognized with numerous honors, including Kyoorius Creative Awards, D&AD shortlists, and Cannes Lions finalist spots.
