Renée Labek is a Zurich-based graphic designer and visual communicator known for her multidisciplinary and experimental approach to design. Working across print, digital, and spatial media, Renée Labek develops contemporary solutions that bridge research-led inquiry with aesthetic precision. Her extensive portfolio includes collaborations with prestigious institutions such as the Swiss National Bank, Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, ETH Zürich, and HGK Basel Academy of Art and Design. Renée Labek holds a Master of Arts in Visual Communication and Iconic Research from the Basel Academy for Art and Design (HGK FHNW), a background that informs her rigorous design process and iconic visual language. Her work has been recognized with awards and nominations, including the NEXA Design Sustainability Award in 2024 for her 3D animation project Thinking from within Nature and a recognition in the INTL International Poster Competition in 2025.
