Quixote’s Art and Writing: Interdisciplinary Art and Surrealist Works

Quixote’s Art and Writing is the creative studio of an interdisciplinary artist dedicated to the concept of 'art as priesthood.' The studio explores a wide range of mediums, including surrealist drawings, painting, assemblage, and mixed media on varied surfaces like Danish teak and illustration board. The artist, known as Quixote, integrates diverse themes such as Christianity, Western esotericism, Gonzo journalism, and psychedelic states into a cohesive 'Wheel' of creative practice aimed at achieving balance and unity. The portfolio features intricate works like the 'Tree of Life' series and 'Totems' collage cut-outs, alongside literary projects including scripts and plays. Based on a philosophy of mythmaking and symbolic language, Quixote’s Art and Writing produces objects and images that serve as conduits for expanded artistic consciousness. The platform also offers a shop for digital prints and original works, inviting visitors to engage with a practice that merges visual image-making with profound philosophical inquiry and outsider roles. The artist’s work is characterized by a commitment to maintaining balance and regulation within a gestalt wheel of creative energies.
