Serena Nassini: Multidisciplinary Artist, Visual Art and Music
Serena Nassini is an accomplished mid-career Italian artist and the founder of Nassini Fine Art, a creative space dedicated to empowering and thought-provoking artistic works. Currently based in Leeds, United Kingdom, Serena Nassini has spent over a decade cultivating a diverse practice that integrates visual arts, music, and community engagement. Her conceptual artworks encompass a wide range of mediums, including installations, drawings, paintings, mixed media, performance, and soundscapes. Grounded in intersectional feminist and ecological principles, the practice of Serena Nassini invites viewers to engage with art as a tool for both personal and societal transformation. She holds a BA in Painting and Visual Arts from NABA University in Milan and an MA in Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London. These academic foundations inform her approach to blending arts-based research with critical pedagogy. Serena Nassini is also a professional clarinetist and educator, having led more than a thousand contemporary art classes internationally. Her work has been exhibited in nearly thirty exhibitions across the UK, Italy, Greece, and the United States. Through her platform, Nassini Fine Art, she offers carbon-neutral fine art prints, commissions, and collaborative projects that embrace life’s beauty and challenge dominant societal values.
