Mary Rose Keane, contemporary painter creating large scale contemporary atmospheric landscapes.

Mary Rose Keane is a Galway-based visual artist originally from Donegal. She has exhibited at the Doorway Gallery and is represented by the Kilbaha Gallery. She holds a BA in Contemporary Art and teaches Art and Design in further education, specialising in portfolio preparation for entry to third-level study. Her paintings explore the emotional essence of place through shifting light and weather, moving between abstraction and realism to evoke memory, atmosphere and transience.
