ARCHIVIO Magazine: Curating Global Archival Culture and Heritage

ARCHIVIO Magazine is a unique editorial project that places archival culture at its core, offering a contemporary perspective on historical records. Published by Promemoria Group and based in Torino, Italy, the magazine is an annual publication that navigates the vast landscape of international archives. Since its inception in 2017, ARCHIVIO Magazine has sought to bridge the gap between the past and the present, utilizing mostly unpublished materials to explore themes such as technology, design, fashion, and other fields. The magazine is structured into editorial cycles, each consisting of four issues. These issues are characterized by their high-quality production, printed on Fedrigoni paper and featuring collaborations with prestigious writers, artists, and photographers. Notable issues include The Tech Issue, curated by Massimo Banzi and Cecilia Botta, The Design Issue, curated by Jasper Morrison and Marco Sammicheli, and the Fashion Issue, curated by Stefano Tonchi and Marco Pecorari. Under the editorial direction of Daniela Hamaui and artistic direction by Alessandro Gori, the magazine has gained international acclaim. ARCHIVIO Magazine serves as an essential resource for those interested in cultural studies, archival research, and the artistic reinterpretation of heritage. Its distribution spans four continents, reaching a global community of readers through specialized bookstores and museum shops.
