Laís Sambugaro | Multidisciplinary Creator and Film Director

Lais Sambugaro works across cinema, visual arts, and writing, developing both author-driven and commercial projects guided by a sensitive, narrative approach. She has directed documentaries, commercials, and music videos for brands such as Natura, UFC, PepsiCo, and LinkedIn. Her work has been showcased on platforms and at festivals including El Ojo de Iberoamrica, NOWNESS, C41 Magazine, and Earthrise Studio. As a writer, she works between poetry — with texts published in the anthology 50 Contemporary Neo-Latin American Women Writers (Philos Magazine) — and screenwriting, working as a writer for series and short films. Her latest short film, "The Hum", selected and produced by Earthrise Studio in partnership with Earth Alliance, will premiere soon. In her creative process, Lais Sambugaro emphasizes the importance of listening and imagination, often drawing inspiration from diverse artistic universes. Her experience in major art galleries and fairs like Zipper Galeria and ArtRio has informed her approach to mixed media and new forms of video. Whether through documentary shorts or music videos, Lais Sambugaro creates immersive experiences that explore contemporary themes through a multidisciplinary lens.
