Alexander Skarsgård is taking the town by storm as a gigolo in The Rolling Stones’ latest music video, “Mr. Charm.” Previously, Anya Taylor-Joy and Charles Melton had a moment in “Jealous Lover,” another song from the band’s new album, Foreign Tongues. Guest artist Odessa A’zion kicked off the promotion for the album with the “In The Stars” music video. Directed by Henry Scholfield and shot in Palmdale, California, the video this time is set at a ramshackle motel beside an old-school diner in the middle of nowhere, where a couple of people are having fun before a total stranger walks in with a whole new vibe that’s spot-on.

A Stranger Rolls Into Town
The beat flows into Alexander Skarsgård’s overwhelming charm, easily getting diner patrons into the groove. It comes as no surprise. He has been staying on top of trends, becoming the centerpiece of major projects lately.
In the clip, Skarsgård’s god-like beauty is hypnotizing as he pulls off his own moves, with no one able to deny that he seems completely in charge, as if he could make anyone do whatever he wants. The sheriff can’t help but hand over the running of the town to him. Pushing things this far all of a sudden, Skarsgård’s character proclaims himself the ultimate authority, to everyone except model Sara Sampaio, who is bored by his charm and couldn’t care less. It looks like she doesn’t even fall for his signature Blue Steel gaze. She is not a fan.

Sara Sampaio Isn’t Buying It
The audience might say otherwise as they enjoy Skarsgård’s heartthrob image as a sexy Western bad boy. But the stone-cold lady makes him crawl before her. It breaks the Mr. Charm illusion, and the mockery draws a quiet parallel with the lyrics: a critique of someone looking to seize power through wealth and an overrated reputation that opens every door.
