Irem Coban is a distinguished multimedia artist, researcher, and educator based in Istanbul, where she serves as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Bilgi University. As an artist, Irem Coban is recognized for her internationally acclaimed work, which has been exhibited in festivals and group shows across the globe, from the USA to Japan and South Korea. Her projects, such as 'Sacred Circuits' and the experimental film 'MYth', delve into metaphysical themes, spiritual awareness, and the intersection of human experience with artificial intelligence. She is a core member of the capitArtX curatorial team and has contributed significantly to the digital art community through workshops and residencies, including the Immensiva residency and Meta Spark Hackathon.
