Giovanna Crise is a multifaceted designer and brand lead currently based in Turin, Italy. With a solid academic foundation from the Politecnico di Torino, where she graduated in Design and Visual Communication, Giovanna has built a career that merges strategy with creative execution. As the Brand Lead at illo, a specialized creative studio, she oversees external communication, manages social media strategies, and coordinates cultural initiatives, ensuring the studio's narrative remains fresh and engaging. Beyond her corporate role, Giovanna Crise is a passionate multidisciplinary designer who frequently explores the intersection of travel, culture, and visual media. One of her most notable personal works is her Korea travel zine, a self-produced project that integrates photography, graphic design, motion, and web design to document her experiences in South Korea. The project utilizes a narrative framework inspired by a train ride, capturing the fleeting nature of observation and memory through a mix of sharp and blurred visuals. As a Readymag ambassador and a professor of communication psychology at IAAD, Giovanna is deeply involved in the design community. She frequently shares her insights at major industry events such as Adobe Live and design conferences across Italy. Her approach is characterized by a balance of strategic structure and intuitive imagination, always seeking to bring a sincere emotional connection and a touch of personality to the digital landscape. Whether working on brand development or hands-on hobbies like clay and sewing, she remains committed to flexible thinking and the continuous cultivation of creativity.
