Gabriel Perez Mora-Bowen \\ Multi-disciplinary artist

His work is defined by an exploration of inner landscapes and spiritual reflections, investigating the profound relationship between the contemplation of Nature and the evolution of human consciousness. By integrating symbols, archetypes, and subconscious visions, Prez seeks to manifest a balance of opposites within his production. He views his creative output as an extension of his inner world - a tool for navigating the Jungian process of individuation and a humanist approach to collective healing. Perez has held several significant solo exhibitions in Ecuador, including Era de Acuario (2021), Eudmonia (2018), Liminalia (2015), and Conscia · Conscientia (2014). His thesis project, El Gnesis del S-mismo (The Genesis of the Self, 2013), received a prestigious award from the Faculty of Arts, marking the beginning of his ongoing inquiry into art as a vessel for inner dialogue. His work has also been featured in notable group exhibitions such as Almanaque ptico (2024) at Q Galera and Absorber la Ficcin (2017) at the Centro de Arte Contemporneo de Quito (CAC). In addition to his visual work, Perez produces and releases original music under the name Gabriel Ignacio, further expanding his interdisciplinary search for resonance and spiritual connection.
