FLO Jewelry Design Studio by Francesca Locati

Ciao, my name is Francesca Locati! I am a Milan-based jewelry designer and founder of FLO Jewelry Design Studio. My work has been exhibited internationally in cities such as Chicago, New York City, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, France, Greece as well as in numerous galleries, fairs and concept stores across Italy. "Tutto in divenire" is the principle that guides my philosophy and approach to work. It is characterised by continuous research and a sense of constant movement, reflected in all my creations. "Il solitario che segue ogni tuo movimento" best represents this concept. The traditional solitaire ring has been given a contemporary twist: the stone moves freely and follows every wearer's gesture. This design enables the stone to reflect light from every angle, enhancing its natural brilliance. The result is a dynamic piece of jewellery that is in constant dialogue with the body. Alongside my studio practice, I teach jewelry and accessory design at IED Istituto Europeo di Design and Accademia del Lusso. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in fine, high and fashion jewellery: I have worked as a 3D modeller and goldsmith at Damiani Group and as an accessory designer assistant, buyer and R&D manager at Rosantica.
