Based between London and Tenerife, Cristina Reyes's practice spans between painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and video performance. Her practice explores the collective subconscious and surreal, and often absurd, visual narratives, featuring hybrid creatures and transfigured forms that serve as archetypes within her unique visual universe. These personages come to life not only through painting, drawing and sculpture but also through movement and ritual in her video performances. Cristina Reyes has exhibited extensively across London and internationally, with notable projects including her latests solo exhibition "Me tocaste la Nariz y lo perdi todo", in Tenerife in 2025 and her largest exterior mural to date as part of Lookup 2024, Portsmouth street art festival. By celebrating deformity and metamorphosis, her art aims to provoke curiosity and facilitate inner transformation.
