Corbin Mahieu: Graphic Design and Creative Direction Studio

Corbin Mahieu is a Belgian graphic designer and creative director based in Ghent. After graduating from LUCA School of Arts in 2014 and gaining professional experience at Zak Group in London and Jan&Randoald, Corbin Mahieu established an independent practice that evolved into Studio Corbin Mahieu in 2022. The studio focuses on the visual aspects of communication, offering services in brand identity, publication design, web design, and digital experiences. Known for an aesthetic of honest simplicity, Corbin Mahieu works closely with artists, cultural institutions, and commercial clients to produce high-quality visual and intellectual outcomes. Key projects include the comprehensive identity system for Pilar, a Brussels-based house for arts and science, and 'Fever Dream,' a collaborative portfolio book for artist Victor Verhelst. Corbin Mahieu emphasizes typography and structural clarity in every project, whether it involves physical printed matter like posters and catalogues or interactive digital platforms. The practice also facilitates a co-working space in Ghent and provides freelance support for various design agencies, reflecting a collaborative and networked approach to contemporary design.
