Artspace Oban - Creative Studio for Artists and Makers

Artspace Oban is a dynamic, independently run creative workspace and artistic hub situated on the busy Corran Esplanade in Oban, Scotland. Established in 2023, the organization provides a dedicated environment for artists and makers to collaborate, create, and refine their skills. The facility comprises three distinct studio areas, including a specialized natural dyeing and botanical printing studio, as well as a small retail space for showcasing resident work. Artspace Oban supports the creative community through a variety of engagement opportunities, such as self-funded artist residencies ranging from one week to one month. These residencies offer self-directed studio time or optional mentorship from permanent resident artists like textile artist Deborah Gray, kilt maker Susan MacCallum, and painters Gwen Fleming and Patricia Voinescu.
