Ariadna Silva Fernández is a distinguished visual artist and filmmaker whose practice bridges the realms of contemporary photography and experimental cinema. Silva Fernández holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, a Master's in Artistic and Documentary Photography from Escuela TAI, and a Master's in Cultural Services from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her work has been widely recognized, earning prestigious accolades such as the Galicia Contemporánea Award at the Intersección Festival, the Xuventude Crea Photography Award, and the Beca Albarracín. Her portfolio includes notable publications like the photobook 'Fillos do vento,' a personal narrative on the Rapa das Bestas, and various fanzines including 'Historias mínimas,' 'Friccións,' and 'The Owls Are Not What They Seem.'
