Ale Rambar - Multidisciplinary Visual Artist and Architect

Ale Rambar is a distinguished Costa Rican visual artist and architect whose work bridges the gap between architecture and fine art. Born in 1989, Ale Rambar has become internationally recognized for his pioneering techniques in paper art and topography. His practice often explores complex themes of human identity and cultural diversity through the layered use of color and texture. From intimate framed pieces to monumental site-specific installations, his portfolio demonstrates a deep commitment to technical precision and emotional resonance. Ale Rambar has exhibited in prestigious venues such as the National Art Museum of China, the Fengxian Museum in Shanghai, and the Arte Laguna Biennale in Venice. His works are held in permanent collections at the Museum of Costa Rican Art and various European Union delegations across Latin America and Europe. Beyond his solo practice, he founded Estudio Rambar, a collaborative space in San José that fosters community and artistic innovation. His multidisciplinary approach reflects his background in architecture, blending structural thinking with a fluid, contemporary aesthetic.
